Accept that you can’t do everything
Most of us want to please lots of people and achieve many things in life. However, you must understand that no much of how many resources you have still it is not possible to manage everything. So, just do the things you can do.
You must manage your activities. You must remember that you will always have 24 hours a day, not more not less. So, decide what you can do in a day and make choices.
Learn to ‘add’ and ‘subtract’
If you want to do more of a particular activity, then you need to subtract an activity too. You cannot fit everything within a specific timeframe. So, set your priorities and cut the less important ones for the time being.
Build up a support group
You need to be surrounded by people who think positively, who believe in you, and who will support you. These people will always encourage you in your endeavors.
Learn to say ‘no’
You cannot please everybody. You must know how to say ‘no’. Think before you say ‘yes’ to someone. Consider your time and ability. You shouldn’t pressurize yourself to please others.
Set time for yourself
You will always be busy with something. Still, you should set time for yourself for your health and well-being. You should make time for rest and exercise.
Turn off everything on the weekend
You should stay disconnected on the weekend. Turn off your computer and hone. You should give rest to your brain so that you can work harder in the following week.
Stay away from negativities
There will be people around you who will negatively influence you. They will complain, show a poor attitude and distract you. You must ignore and avoid them.
Spend time with family and friends
You should spend more time with your family and friends. Don’t just spend time over a social network or watching television. Have a face-to-face conversation with them.
Once in a while treat yourself. For example, you can go to the parlor for a facial or a massage, go shopping, or have a cup of coffee in an exclusive coffee shop.
You need to create the ultimate balance in your life. That way you will be happy and you will find that your productivity is also boosting. If you are well-balanced then you will be able to focus your attention on attaining goals and take productive actions.
